Palestinske Jorddagen
Landdagen markeres av palestinere årlig den 30. mars. Den dagen i 1976 gjorde palestinske borgere i Israel opprør mot forsøkene fra de regjerende myndighetene på å ekspropriere og kolonisere store deler av deres land rundt seks landsbyer i Galilea. Palestinere kunngjorde en generalstreik og organiserte marsjer i forskjellige arabiske byer, hvor det brøt ut voldelige konfrontasjoner med politiet som resulterte i seks martyrer blant demonstrantene. Siden den gang ble 30. mars markert som en nasjonaldag der palestinere viser samhold og intensjon om å forsvare landet sitt og tilknytningen til sin nasjonale identitet.
Om filmen «Yom El Ard»
Yom El Ard fortalte om hendelsene den dagen og dokumenterte de første jubileumsaktivitetene. Den inneholder intervjuer med ofre for vold, ordførere i de berørte landsbyene og viser sjeldent sett opptak fra den epoken. Når man ser det flere tiår senere, kan man se hvordan israelsk politikk i Galilea var en tidligere versjon av hva den militære okkupasjonen sammen med den israelske nybyggerbevegelsen ville gjennomføre på Vestbredden og Øst-Jerusalem i løpet av de påfølgende tiårene.
Fattigbøndenes kamp om jorden i Brasil:
I Brasil kjemper fattigbønder om jorden. De organiserer seg i fattigbøndenes forbund(LCP). I Brasil er det omfattende sult, mens imperialistiske land som Norge og jordeiere utnytter landets ressurser. Fattigbøndene kjemper om jorden til de som arbeider den, men for dette blir de angrepet og myrdet. Nå beskriver de at det er krigstilstander på landsbygden. Midt i denne kampen har også fattigbøndene løftet Palestinas fane fordi palestinerne også kjemper om jorden son og mot imperialismen, og dette gir de håp og mot til å fortsette kampen. Vi vil dele mer informasjon om fattigbøndenes kamp og hvordan vi som antiimperialister kan støtte denne kampen.

Palestinian Land Day
Land Day is celebrated by Palestinians annually on March 30. On that day in 1976, Palestinian citizens of Israel revolted against the attempts of the ruling authorities to expropriate and colonize large parts of their land around six villages in the Galilee. Palestinians declared a general strike and organized marches in various Arab cities, where violent confrontations with the police broke out, resulting in six martyrs among the demonstrators. Since then, March 30 has been marked as a national day on which Palestinians show unity and intention to defend their land and their attachment to their national identity.
Film: «Yom El Ard»
Yom El Ard recounted the events of that day and documented the first anniversary activities. It contains interviews with victims of violence, mayors of the affected villages and shows rarely seen footage from that era. When viewed decades later, one can see how Israeli policy in the Galilee was an earlier version of what the military occupation, together with the Israeli settler movement, would implement in the West Bank and East Jerusalem over the following decades.
Poor farmers’ struggle for land in Brazil
In Brazil, poor farmers are fighting for the land. They organize themselves in the Confederation of Poor Farmers (LCP). In Brazil, there is widespread hunger, while imperialist countries such as Norway and landowners exploit the country’s resources. The poor farmers are fighting for the land of those who work it, but for this they are attacked and murdered. Now they describe that there are states of war in the countryside. In the midst of this struggle, the poor farmers have also raised the flag of Palestine because the Palestinians are also fighting for the land for and against imperialism, and this gives them hope and courage to continue the struggle. We will share more information about the struggle of poor farmers and how we as anti-imperialists can support this struggle.
